Prices

We include both pre and post-VAT prices (many companies provide pre-VAT prices only).

For Services requiring a BER Certificate or services where a BER Certificate is chosen, an additional €25+€5 VAT charge from SEI (Sustainable Energy Ireland) is passed on to the customer via us.

There is a €200 BER Assessment grant as part of the Home Energy Saving (HES) Scheme.

More competitive rates can be obtained for multiple buildings or buildings of simple design.

Notes:

1. The SEI fee for a provisional BER Certificate for new homes being sold off the plans is €25.
   
2. VAT has been added to above prices at 21.5% rate (applicable after 1 December 2008).
3. The prices quoted above are for standard houses of average complexity. There are exceptions where higher fees apply to properties of complicated design. Lower prices can also be obtained for smaller properties where the design is simpler.
4. In the case of multiple buildings, identical properties do not all require seperate assessments. A representative sample is taken for both BER Assessments and pressurisation tests for sections of the development of the same design.
5. To avail of the €200 HES Scheme grant, there is a minimum requirement that the total grant amount in the first application must be €500 or greater. The BER grant cannot form part of this €500 amount.
